I FREAKIN LOVE LONDON AND I FREAKIN LOVE FOOD…so what could be better than sharing my knowledge, after non-stop menu studying and trying out a gazillion spots, with you nutters! Here’s a random selection of restaurants that I quite like and you might like too…expect a large portion of cookies, a healthy amount of chicken and kale, and of course something for the rad vegans out there!


Natural Kitchen, Baker Street: Halloumi and courgette burger, naked with sweet potato fries. Don’t be fooled by the fact that this sounds like a standard halloumi burger, it’s gooey and delicious and I promise ain’t basic!





Daisy Green, Portman Village: Broccoli and sweet corn fritters, followed by the banana bread sandwich that will literally change your life…that’s all you need to know.

Cookdaily, Boxparks: The Full English (vegan style), if you want to keep it light switch the rice for extra veg and scrambled tofu. Even if you’re not a vegan lover just give it a whack, trust me your taste buds will be having a PARTAAAYY!

Mediterraneo, Notting Hill: Veal Milanese with pecorino pasta. If you’re going to keep it simple you’ve got to make sure it’s right.

Cocotte, Westbourne Grove: The Natalie Salad with feta, green sauce and a quater chicken. I’d say this is my favourite takeout on earth, I probably pay their rent the amount I go there!




Berber & Q, Acton Mews: Lamb Shawarma, Cauliflower Shawarma, Berber & Q Hummus…and basically everything, its made for sharing so the more the merrier.

Fez Mangal, Ladbroke Grove: For saucy lovers, Yogurtlu Chicken Shish, or keep it simple with Chicken Shish. Fez Mangal is also BYOB which is always very amusing, especially when you forget and have to pop to for prosecco Sainsburys halfway through ordering.

NAC, Mayfair: Crushed milk chocolate cookies with frosties ice cream. This place may be mega commercial, but who gives a damn when the cookies are so damn NAAAWWTYYY!

Blondies Kitchen, Oxford Street: Cookie pizza (1 slice PB, 1 slice nutella), a cup of half vegan half chocolate chip cookie dough with a flake and milk. If it wasn’t obvious, I have a bit of a cookie obsession!
