It may be March and fashion month may be over, but YGSF are off to Milan this week and i’ve already been planning my wardrobe for the past 6 days. With this in mind let’s throwback Tuesday (yes that is a thing) to some of our proudest moments from LFW…that’s basically a jazzy way of saying “our favourite looks.”
Look 1: “It’s all Gucci baby”
(P.s. I always dress to match my mode of transportation)
GucciGucciGucciGucci. Gucci loafers and jumper (bought a size too big, of course) is what I went for for maximum comfort and 100% success rate, because Alessandro Michele is all anyone cares about at the moment.
Of course we have to chuck in a throwback to when I indulged on a heart shaped Vivienne Westwood handbag back at uni…and no, student life was rarely ever this extravagant. The glasses were both completely unnecessary (the lenses did not help my sight) and necessary at the same time.
- Jumper: Gucci
- Jeans: R13
- Loafers: Gucci (an LA purchase)
- Handbag: Vivienne Westwood
- Glasses: Vintage (picked up in LA- Fairfax flea market)
- Earrings: Vintage
Look 2: The Denim Sandwich
Fancy a sandwich? NO! We don’t eat bread in the fa$hun world. The only sandwich we’ll go for is a triple denim one, it’s super tasty and not at all fattening. It’s fair to admit that the all denim everything thing has been done and done. BUT when both your jeans and DJ are hand painted works of art, then your look becomes a very unique one.
It also helps when you have watermelons in your ears and vintage Versace on your shoulder.
- Jacket: Regenration Vintage (picked up in LA)
- Jeans: Vintage (picked up in LA)
- Loafers: & Other Stories
- Boots: Dr Marten (picked up in LA)
- Bag: Vintage Versace (picked up in a Parisienne flea market)
- Glasses: Nasty Gyal
Look 3: The 1970’s Nerd
This look was pulled out on the final day of LFW, I didn’t realise i’d be hitting the shows on Tuesday, so you might say it was created in a hurry. I don’t necessarily work well under pressure, but if I do say so myself I think this one came out pretty well. In fact, it may be my favourite of the whole week!
Nothing beats a pair of patchwork denim flares and a giant fluffy yellow jumper. The nerdy part comes from the glasses, which again were totally unnecessary but necessary.
- Jumper: Vintage
- Flared Jeans: American Vintage (picked up in LA)
- Bag: Topshop
- Trainers: God knows?
- Sunglasses: Nasty Gyal
Look 4: Basically…a Christmas tree
For ASHISH I wore ASHISH…need I say more?
- Blouse: ASHISH
- Joggers: ASHISH
- Bag: Chanel
- Boots: Topshop
Have a cracking Tuesday you wonderful bunch!!
